Autograph letter signed "Queensberry" (John Sholto Douglas, Marquis of Queensberry) to his father-in-law, Alfred Montgomery on the occasion of the death of Queensberry's son Francis Archibald Douglas, Viscount Drumlanrig, in which Queensberry states that he sees the death as a judgement against Montgomery, Rosebery and Gladstone, and blames Montgomery for the bad blood between himself and the Viscount that was never resolved.
